ROOTS & VALUES:

Greg was born into a working class family.  His grandparents worked in mills and factories.  Greg’s father was the first in his family to earn a college degree, doing so on the GI Bill after serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War.  Greg’s mother put herself through school, raising Greg and his sister during the day and working part-time at night to help support the family. 

At a young age Greg was taken by the struggles of those decent, hard-working middle class workers he knew.  Greg devoted himself to a career fighting for those he respected so deeply.

Greg put himself through college and law school, taking student loans to cover tuition.  When he began practicing law, eventually in a firm he started with two friends, he did so on behalf of working Ohioans.

Greg fought for workers who have been injured or otherwise cast aside for over a decade.  He has been a leader in his profession, serving on the board of trustees of a large bar association and chairing its Professionalism committee.  He has been a speaker on legal ethics and has served as a mentor to young lawyers just entering the profession.

In Columbus, Greg will bring the same passion, dedication, and talent to bear for the people of the 14th District and throughout Ohio.

PLAN FOR OHIO:

Protect the working middle class and Ohio families. 

Create new jobs while retaining those we have in Ohio. 

Fix our school funding problem so all our children can receive an excellent education and to keep college affordable. 

Work to fix the healthcare system in Ohio and support small business by offering tax credits for heath care premiums. 

Oppose tax increases, including sales tax, electricity and gas tax increases, as the working middle class is paying enough already. 

Streamline bureaucracy and ensure we all have a single set of rules by which to play. 

Bring a commitment to good government free of scandal and corruption and committed to serving the public.
